I was tired of bending over to pick up after my dog, so this scoop with its long telescoping handle is a game changer for my back. The spade attachment makes it easy to scoop up even messy piles without getting too close.

Finally, no more bending over and straining my back every time I clean up the yard. The telescoping handle locks solid at its full 44 inches, which makes a huge difference for me. The spade part scoops up even soft messes without leaving a residue.

The telescoping handle really does save my back—I can reach most of the yard at 44 inches without crouching. The spade end digs into grass easily, though the locking mechanism takes a firm twist to engage. Solid buy for the price.
