To determine what size harness you need for your dog, you'll need to measure the girth of your dog's chest/stomach area. To do this, grab your dog and a cloth tape measure. To measure your dog, have your dog stand up. Next, take the cloth tape measure and wrap it around your dog's chest/stomach area. Be sure you place the tape measure behind your dog's front two legs to get an accurate reading. If your dog's girth measures 15 inches, you'll need to purchase a medium size harness.
